WordPress’s blogs have gone social with the introduction of two new features: quick reblogging and the ability to “like” posts. The newly launched features can be accessed through a like menu item in the admin bar at the top of the page. You have to be logged in to access these features and manage your content.
Clicking on the ‘Like’ button will show the author how many people like the post. Once you click on the ‘Like’ button, the top menu will change to “You like this.” In the same menu, you will have the option to “Reblog this Post.” By clicking on that, you will be directed to a pre-filled QuickPress tab, which contains the title, the beginning of the post that you are reblogging and an image. QuickPress is another new feature which is a simpler interface to writing and publishing blogs.
WordPress has also created a tab that lets you view all of the posts that you have liked. The page provides excerpts from each post and a search box to find posts on a specific topic or from a specific blog.
