Despite facing problems, Google will not exit the China market. Google will continue to do Research and Development in China. To keep its Chinese customers updated, Google has created a Google Apps status dashboard that is updated daily, to show what apps in the Google network is working.
According to Google, there are several networking configurations available to help ongoing access like Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection, secure shell (SSH) tunneling, or proxy servers. Google has stopped censoring its search services like Google Search, Google News, and Google Images on its Chinese domain (google.cn). Some of the blocked apps are Google Groups, Blogger, YouTube and Google Sites.
