According to a survey conducted by Sybase, which offers several mobile apps, Smartphone users in the U.S are more willing to use tablets like the iPad for both work and for entertainment purposes.
Of the 2,443 respondents, 770 were smartphone users. Out of these users, 48% said they would use the iPad for “watching movies, videos, television programs” while 35% said that they would use it for “gaming and other entertainment.” However, 52% said they would use the tablet for work purposes. The survey also found that 79% of smartphone users use their devices for both entertainment and work activities.
