Last week Digg released their app for the iPhone and now the official Digg app for Android phones has been released in the Android Market. The app can be downloaded onto any Android phone, for free. To download the app, users have to search for “Digg” in the Android Market. Users can also scan a QR code from the Digg blog site and download the application.
The Digg Android app supports the landscape style of browsing for story titles, with pages being loaded within the app’s browser. You can also browse and dig stories and comments. The app is more suited for newer Android phones like the Droid and the Nexus One, which have higher screen resolutions. The Digg Android app will have new updates and improvements in the next few weeks.
