Boy Genius Report has managed to use BlackBerry’s new OS 6.0, which is the upcoming release from RIM. The new browser has been improved in both performance and display and supports multi-tasking and switching tabs.
Some of the observations about the new OS are:
- Multi-touch support is available, and includes pinch zoom and kinetic scrolling, which has been improved
- The home screen can be customized for different apps and groups
- The new media player is more touch- centric
- The message box looks neater and allows the user to discern between messages from Facebook, e-mail, RSS feeds and Twitter.
