A manual Froyo update for Nexus One is now available. The download has a rooted version available too. Nexus One users who have downloaded the update have reported that their phones are functioning faster. You can get to the phone and the browser without having to create a desktop shortcut. The tethering option is intact in the phone’s settings. The Market app has new update settings with an option of “Allow automatic updating” for each individual app.
On the downside, the Flash Player 10.1 takes some time to load. Videos could not be viewed, and those that were opening, were very choppy. Information on the download is available at Android Police.
